-It feels…strange. I dont like it. – Said Jake. He tried to free his arms or legs, in vain. The restraints were well tightened. It was hard even to move a little. He did rest his head on the pad, breathing heavily. But he liked. He liked to be unmovable, defenseless, like waiting to be tortured. He was feeling something strange on his belly. Strange, but pleasant. He could stay there for hours.

这感觉怪怪的，我不喜欢，杰克说。他试着挣脱出胳膊和腿，但是失败了。镣铐都锁紧了，就连想动一下都困难。他把头放在垫子上休息，呼吸急促。但是他喜欢，喜欢这种不能动，无力反抗，等待着痛苦来临的感觉。他感到小腹以下的部位有一种奇怪的感觉，奇怪但令人舒服，他愿意这样呆上几个小时。

-Did you notice that the machine is at a slight angle? It is to put your buttocks up, to be easier to spank them. And now we are here, do you want some swats, Jake?- Asked Mr. G., uncombing Jakes hair.

你发没发现这台机器有一个小小的倾角？这是为了把你的屁股抬高，打起来更方便。既然你现在在这，想来几下吗？校长摸着杰克的头说道。

-No, sir! Please, no.- Jake looked alarmed. – We are only playing Mr. Gergas…- What if Mr. G. decided to punish him after all?.

不，先生，请不要。杰克看起来有些惊恐。我们只是在玩游戏。你怎么能真正的惩罚我呢？

-Not even a little swat, Jake?- Mr. G. insisted.

轻轻地打几下怎么样，杰克？校长坚持道。

-Okay, Mr. Gergas…-He said after thought it. -But only one or two soft swats, please… –

好吧先生，在考虑过后他说。但请只轻轻的打几下。

-Good. Look, Jake. I will bring the crop, but before I will finish my cup of coffee.- He said. You will have to wait me. Some kids said to me, it is scary to wait, tied and ready, and you listen to every sound hoping its not me.-

好的。听着杰克，我会把惩罚工具带来，但在这之前我会先喝完这杯咖啡，他说道。你得等着我。很多孩子对我说，被绑着等准备好被惩罚是一件很痛苦的事情，你听到的所有声音都不希望是我。

-Okay, sir. -Jake answered.

好的先生，杰克回答。

When Mr. G. left, Jake squirmed, trying again to get free. But the restraints were very tough and well tightened. He did rest his head on the pad and closed his eyes, rubbing the sides of the machine with his fingers. He felt his butt very visibly, like the peak of a mountain.

校长离开后，杰克感到局促不安，有一次尝试挣脱束缚，但是镣铐是那么坚固而且被锁紧。他将头放在垫子上休息并合上双眼，手指抠着机器的边缘。他感到他的屁股十分显眼，就像一座山的峰顶。

Little by little, he began to feel afraid. He was alone and unmovable. What if something happen? What if another people enter the room…and decided to apply punish of his own? He found himself listening to every little sound inside or outside the room, wondering if Mr. G. had returned, his heart jumping when he believe he was listening the door opening, just to relax later. Sooner or later, Mr. G. would return, with a crop…

渐渐地，杰克开始感觉到害怕。他自己一个人呆在这里动弹不得。会发生什么事情呢？要是其他人进来了由他执行惩罚该怎么办？他发现自己正在自己注意着屋内外的声音，看校长是否回来了，当听到想开门的声音时他的心砰砰直跳，而后又放松下来。校长迟早会回来，带着工具回来。

-The fear must be part of the punishment…- He thought. He squirmed again. The position was getting uncomfortable. He cannot touch the platform, even with his stretched toes. He was wearing low cut socks that day, and the sharp edges of the wood were hurting him.

他想，恐惧一定也是惩罚的一部分。他又一次感到局促不安。这种姿势开始让他感觉到不舒服。他双脚悬空，脚趾碰不到踏板。他穿着超短袜，脚铐边上的木质磨着他的脚踝。

Finally, Mr. Gergas returned. Jake sighed when he saw the riding crop: long, black, it looked ominous.

最终，校长回来了。当看到马鞭时杰克吃了一惊，那是一支黑色的令人毛骨悚然的长马鞭。

-Well, Jake. Are you ready? -Mr. G. asked.

做好准备了吗，杰克？校长问道。

-Ye…yes, sir. -Jake was getting nervous. -How many swats will I receive, sir? One or two?-

是……是的，先生。杰克变得越发紧张，你要打我几下先生？一下还是两下？

-I though about it, Jake. I calculated that the average swats a kid receives from me are eighteen, so you will receive nine.- Mr. G. said.

我想过了，杰克。我算了一下每个孩子平均被打十八下，所以我要打你九下，校长说。

Jake jerked and turned to Mr. G.

-We said it would be one or two, Mr. Gergas! -He almost shouted. The things began to go terrible.

杰克吃了一惊，转向校长说，我们说好了打一下或者两下的。他几乎是在吼叫，事情正在变得糟糕。

-I know, but I changed my mind, Jake.- He replied.

我知道，但我改变主意了，杰克，校长回答。

-I dont want to. Untie me, please Mr. Gergas. -Jake asked, trying to escape.

我不想，请放开我校长。杰克说着，尝试要挣脱。

-Its not if you want or not. Its you will have to. -Mr. G said.

这不是你想不想的问题，你必须接受，校长说。

-It was a game, Mr. Gergas! -Said Jake whimpering. -Its not fair. I dont want to play anymore!-

这是一场游戏，先生，杰克开始啜泣。这不公平，我不想再玩了。

-We are not playing anymore, Jake. This is for real. Listen to me: after every swat you will have to count it, with loud voice. -Mr. G. explained. -If you fail to count, we will repeat it. Understand?-

我们已经没有在玩游戏了，这是真实的惩罚。听着，每一鞭后，你都要大声的报数。如果你不数或是数错了，我们就从头开始，明白了吗？校长解释说。
